The Mighty Bee is a Woodstock, Georgia-based apiary dedicated to producing truly pure honey, handled with care from hive to jar. We work without middlemen, additives, or shortcuts, offering honey exactly as it exists in nature, rich in flavor, nutrients, and character.

Our approach is simple: respect the bees, protect the process, and deliver a product we are proud to stand behind.

Honeybees truly are the backbone of our ecosystem and are essential to our ability to produce organic food. Bees pollinate roughly 70 of the 100 crop species that feed 90% of the world. Without them, production of apples, almonds, avocados, berries, and broccoli would plummet causing our environment, biodiversity, and ecosystem to collapse.

Sustainability is not a trend for us, it is how we secure a thriving future for humanity. It is the foundation of how we work, grow, and partner.

Our Philosophy

The Founder

The Mighty Bee was founded by James Mospanyuk, a first-generation, self-taught apiarist with a background in health and wellness. While studying at Georgia State University, James felt drawn to entrepreneurship but wanted to build something rooted in substance, not scale alone.

After a year of studying apiculture, he launched The Mighty Bee in 2022 with a single hive. What began as a way to share fresh honey with family and friends quickly became a purpose-driven business focused on reconnecting people to the source of their food and restoring trust in what honey can be.

Future offerings, including select apitherapy products and restorative experiences, will be introduced only when they meet the same level of care and responsibility that defines our honey today.
